Our RTC community creates an environment in which success, motivation, and achievement are the primary forces, feeding an energy that has a determined purpose at its very centre.
Founder
As Founder and Director, Arthur has overseen the growth and development of RTC since its inception in 2014. During that time, RTC has evolved from the relative obscurity of being an empty Georgian building in central Tunbridge Wells, to become a thriving tutoring company, with multiple sites across the county.
Arthur’s overriding ambition is to make quality supplementary learning available to an ever-widening demographic. This is at the heart of RTC’s core organisational values. Ultimately, the company strives to position itself as a successful ‘for profit’ company that seeks to ‘do good’ with said profit. RTC’s pupil premium initiatives and Scholarship Schemes, along with its exclusive learning materials and expert tutors, sets RTC apart from its peer group. The reality of its success, in delivering impactful tutoring services to all parts of the local community, is a source of considerable pride.
As a student, Arthur attended Eton College, obtained a BA in Theology from Leeds University, and an MSc in International Relations Theory from the London School of Economics. After a short stint in the City, Arthur entered a sought-after Graduate Training Programme at Ibstock Place School where he undertook his teacher training.
When Arthur is not working on the business, he likes to keep fit. Above all, it’s quality time spent with wife, Joanna, and his two children, Arabella and Felix, that Arthur treasures most.

I'm Sarah, a Maths KS3 and GCSE tutor at Right Tuition’s Maidstone tuition centre. I have been teaching since 2012 but joined The Right Tuition Company in 2023. I have a first class degree in Economics, which I teach up to KS5. I enjoy teaching Maths mainly because of the joy students experience when they work hard to understand a tricky concept and I am able to explain it in a way that makes it simple for them to master the topic.
I am also a GCSE Maths examiner which gives me insight into the minds of thousands of students, in turn making me a better teacher.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing gospel music and days out with my husband and three children. I also love to go to the theatre; the cheesy musicals are the best!
