Acknowledge The Power of the Plan.

When embarking upon some creative writing, overcome that terrifying image of a blank piece of paper by, as an important first step, investing time (3-5 minutes) in making a bullet point or spider-diagram plan.

This helps to offer your writing a coherent structure, thereby reducing the tendency for any spelling and punctuation errors.

It also allows you to develop the descriptive substance, as contained within the piece, in a more wholesome and engaging manner.
